Die Figur bildet den Ausgangspunkt meiner Malerei, nicht ihr Ziel. Mich interessiert der Moment, in dem sich der Körper zwischen Präsenz und Auflösung bewegt. Natur, Stadt, Porträt und Skulptur verstehe ich als unterschiedliche Ausdrucksformen derselben Fragestellung.
The figure is the starting point of my paintings rather than their destination. I am interested in the moment when the body oscillates between presence and dissolution. Nature, city, portrait and sculpture are different expressions of the same artistic inquiry.

BiografieBiography
Diane C. Wolf (*1967) lebt und arbeitet in Luxemburg und Stuttgart. Nach einer langjährigen autodidaktischen Auseinandersetzung mit der Malerei vertieft sie seit 2024 ihre künstlerische Praxis im Studium an der Europäischen Kunstakademie Trier (EKA), das voraussichtlich 2027 mit dem Diplom abgeschlossen wird.\n\nIm Zentrum ihrer Arbeit steht die menschliche Figur im Spannungsfeld zwischen Präsenz und Auflösung. Ihre Arbeiten wurden bereits in Einzel- und Gruppenausstellungen in der Region präsentiert, unter anderem im Rathaus Konz sowie im Kunstbunker Montabaur.
Diane C. Wolf (*1967) lives and works in Luxembourg and Stuttgart. After many years of self-directed artistic practice, she began studying at the European Academy of Fine Arts in Trier in 2024 and expects to graduate in 2027.\n\nHer work centres on the human figure in the tension between presence and dissolution. Her paintings and sculptures have been shown in solo and group exhibitions in the region.
